Golf in Scotland

We have 554 golf courses in Scotland in our golf course database.
Scotland, also known as the “Home of Golf,” is a must-visit for all true golfers.

Scotland is renowned for its links courses. Founded in 1832, North Berwick’s West Links course is the thirteenth oldest links course in the world. One look and you wouldn’t believe the course is nearly 200 years old, it is kept in prime condition. The holes are unique to the course, creating an unforgettable golfing experience. Take the 13th for example, the approach involves playing over a wall to find the hole tucked in the greens on the other side. Take in the beauty of this historic course, at a fraction of the cost of most other courses, starting at only £30.

More than 550 golf courses lie on the grounds of Scotland, surrounded by surreal scenery. There are courses to situate everyone’s performance. In 2014, the Ryder Cup will be held in Scotland, for the first time in over 40 years.

FORE! Lee Westwood ball ends up in a woman's shirt !!!

This is maybe not news but where the ball landed is incredible..... The ball somehow made it's way into a woman's shirt as seen in the video below.

What would have been funnier is if the lady would have taken a run towards the green and dropped the ball there or even dropped it in the hole :)
